You can take advantage of a simple way to cover expenses not included under your school district’s benefit package by enrolling in the District’s sponsored WageWorks Plan through CBA to pretax your income. If you are already participating in the CBA WageWorks plan, you can access your account by going to the WageWorks website at: https://www.wageworks.com/employees. The program allows you to pretax your income for the following IRS authorized expenses:
- Healthcare Flexible Spending Account (FSA) – pretax benefit account used to pay for eligible medical, dental, and vision care expenses that aren’t covered by your insurance plan or elsewhere.
- Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account– pretax benefit account used to pay for dependent care services, such as preschool, summer day camp, before or after school programs, and child or elder daycare.
- Commuter Transit Account – pretax benefit account used to pay for public transit—including train, subway, bus, and ferry—as part of your daily commute to and from work. It also includes pre-tax benefits for Commuter Parking, Commuter Vanpool, and Bicycle Reimbursement.
